Our Mission
After Hurricane Irma, it became evident that Monroe County had no mechanism in place to assist the First Responders who themselves were recovering from the natural disaster. A group of law enforcement personnel partnered with several members of the community and formed Monroe County Stars of Hope, Inc.
Monroe County Stars of Hope, Inc. recognizes the daily sacrifices of our First Responders. We are committed to taking care of those that protect our community in the direst of times. When a First Responder is in need, we will be there for them.
Our primary fundraising efforts include organizing and participating in various community events in Monroe County. Including a weekly bingo night at Boondocks Grille And Draft House. This in partnership with with Coldwell Banker Schmitt Foundation will resume once it’s safe to gather again.
